CFD-FASTRAN-GUI 1.0

CFD-FASTRAN-GUI is a graphical interface designed to streamline the setup, execution, and analysis of simulations run with the CFD-FASTRAN solver. It guides users through the complete workflow—importing geometry and meshes, defining materials and boundary conditions, configuring solver options, and monitoring runs—so teams can focus on engineering decisions rather than manual case preparation. The interface is suited for external aerodynamics, propulsion and store-separation studies, and other compressible-flow applications across aerospace, automotive, and defense.

Key capabilities:

• Project workflow management: organize cases, templates, and run histories in a single workspace.
• Geometry and mesh handling: import common CAD/mesh formats, manage multi-block grids, and set up interfaces and (when supported) overset/Chimera grids.
• Physics setup: configure steady or unsteady simulations, compressible flow regimes, heat transfer, species, and industry-standard turbulence models.
• Motion and dynamics: define moving or rotating components, 6-DOF constraints, and mesh motion for dynamic events.
• Run control and monitoring: manage parallel settings, launch local or remote jobs, and track residuals, forces, and moments in real time.
• Post-processing: generate plots and field visualizations, compute integral coefficients (e.g., lift, drag, moments), and export results to common visualization tools.
• Automation: create parameter studies, batch runs, and reusable setup templates; record and replay macros for repeatable workflows.
• Data management: compare cases, track revisions, and export case packages for collaboration.
